KGM™ Keratinocyte Growth Medium has been optimized for the proliferation of keratinocytes in a serum-free and calcium-free environment. Keratinocytes cannot survive in a completely calcium free system. Contact Scientific Support for information on the calcium requirements of keratinocytes.

Did you know our customers have used KGM™ Media also to culture immortalized corneal epithelial cells? Check out Jolly, et. al. publication that provides some guidelines to do this.
